Industrial Copper Elopement
I always love getting to work with so many talented vendors from across the area, and this shoot is one of the many reasons why! A few months ago, I started talking with a few people about bringing a styled elopement to life. I wanted to show that elopements can be extremely creative and out of the box. You can do whatever you want and have an intimate moment for just the two of you. Elopements don’t have to be “going to the courthouse”. You can have your incredible wedding dreams, and even be more flexible with what you can do because of the small number of guests.
The whole idea for this shoot started with a terribly drawn stick figure drawing (by yours truly). I brought it to the talented people at Sainte Terre who completely ran with the idea and created the look so effortlessly. I absolutely love those desert tones and all the amazing nontraditional elements. The gorgeous dress by Fabulous Frocks of Shreveport. Out of the box, copper blooms by my talented friend Meghan Awalt Floral Design. The visionary at Social Bites of Ruston who made two incredible cakes. Stunning signage by Paperglaze Calligraphy. Phenomenal Hair + Make up that tied the whole shoot together by Fête la Femme. Nontraditional yet classically stunning rings and watch by Lockhart Jewelers. And the ridiculously neat grey cotton candy by Püf.
I’m so blessed to be surrounded by so many talented people who trust my vision, no matter how insane it might seem. Cheers to another successful shoot.
